Kim’s rich vocals have been described as “a blend of honey and whiskey.” Her lyrics elicit feelings of melancholy, heartbreak, healing and social consciousness. Her latest project, “The Seven Fires Prophecy Suite for Humanity,” features songs that tie ancient Anishinaabe prophecies to our current social environment.

Julian Loida

Called “one of the Boston music scene’s most valuable players” by The Art Fuse, Julian Loida is a percussionist, composer, and producer. He has performed jazz, folk, and classical, collaborating with dancers, visual artists, songwriters/composers, and musicians. This thirst to participate in and experience a range of sounds is partly due to Loida’s synesthesia. Music is a full- body experience for him, with sounds often invoking involuntary sensations of color, texture, or even taste.

Julian sings and plays vibraphone, electronics, piano, strings, and percussion. His compositions are featured in films, ads, and dance. His recent album, “Giverny,” lauded by WBUR for its artistry and continual innovation, was released in May 2023.
